– Luxury Hotel & Fine Dining Washington, DC – Capitol Hill A
premier luxury hotel in the heart of Capitol Hill is seeking an
Executive Sous Chef to join its culinary leadership team. This role
is ideal for a passionate, experienced culinary professional who
thrives in both high-volume hotel operations and upscale,
chef-driven restaurant environments, including a full-service
bistro. What You’ll Do Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily
kitchen operations across multiple outlets, including a hotel
restaurant, bar, and banquet service. Lead, train, and inspire
kitchen staff to maintain high culinary and service standards.
Collaborate on menu development, ensuring seasonal creativity,
quality, and consistency across all food offerings. Oversee
inventory management, food cost control, and compliance with health
and safety standards. Support banquet and event operations,
ensuring seamless execution of private dining, corporate events,
and large-scale functions. Maintain a positive, professional
kitchen culture that encourages growth, collaboration, and
excellence. Ideal Background Proven Executive Sous Chef experience
in a luxury hotel or high-volume fine dining environment. Strong
background in bistro-style or upscale restaurant operations.
Experience managing banquet and event catering operations is highly
desirable. Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
Solid understanding of food costing, inventory management, and
kitchen operations. Passion for culinary excellence, innovation,
and delivering memorable guest experiences. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $80,000– $85,000 Competitive, high-performing salary
