government forward! Defense Market Growth, Managing Director We're
seeking a Defense Market Growth, Managing Director to spearhead the
expansion of our client market across key defense agencies
including USAF, Navy, and DIB. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes
role for someone who thrives on building strong client
relationships, developing a robust sales pipeline, and leading
high-performing teams to win game-changing deals. Key
Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Business Development Architect
and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for Defense agencies
including USAF, Navy, and DIB Build and maintain a healthy pipeline
of opportunities by working closely with account sales leads, BDDs,
and Client Account Leads Drive the entire business development
lifecycle, from opportunity identification to proposal submission
and contract negotiation, focused on increasing our PWin. Establish
and nurture strategic, long-term relationships with our clients,
becoming a trusted advisor on their most critical IT modernization
and digital transformation challenges. Client Obsession & Market
Expertise Embody a client-obsessed approach, deeply understanding
the unique missions, funding cycles, and technology needs of each
agency in the portfolio. Serve as the voice of the client
internally, collaborating with solution architects and delivery
teams to ensure our IT service offerings are innovative, relevant,
and directly address agency pain points. Maintain expert knowledge
of federal acquisition regulations, IT trends (e.g., Cloud, AI/ML,
Cybersecurity), and competitor activities. Team Leadership &
Development Lead, mentor, and grow your team Set clear performance
metrics for the growth team, ensuring alignment with overall
company revenue and profitability targets. Act as a player-coach,
actively participating in critical client meetings and providing
hands-on support for major capture efforts. Qualifications:
Required Demonstrated track record of winning multi-million dollar
contracts (both full and open and set-aside) with federal defense
agencies. Proven success in building, scaling, and leading
high-performing sales/growth teams. Deep familiarity with the
Federal acquisition process (e.g., FAR, task orders, contract
vehicles like GSA, IDIQs). Exceptional communication, presentation,
and negotiation skills. Preferred Existing network of senior-level
relationships within the targeted federal agency portfolio.
Experience leading growth for an organization that has undergone
rapid expansion. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business,
