Job Description:
NOVA Parks is seeking a dedicated Assistant Golf Course Manager
to join our team, enhancing the recreational experience across our
expansive 12,000 acres of beautifully preserved woodlands, streams,
and Virginia countryside. This role is pivotal in maintaining our
high standards of golf course management and operations, ensuring
exceptional service and pristine course conditions that align with
our commitment to recreation and conservation. Assist in overseeing
day-to-day golf course operations and maintenance. Coordinate with
the Golf Course Manager to implement policies and procedures that
ensure high quality golfing experiences. Supervise staff including
scheduling, training, and providing performance feedback. Ensure
compliance with all environmental regulations and participate in
environmental stewardship initiatives. Manage inventory and
ordering of supplies necessary for course maintenance and
operations. Participate in the development and management of
budgets. Handle customer service issues and ensure guest
satisfaction. Coordinate with other departments to promote and
market the golf course. Strong leadership and people management
skills Proficient in golf course management software and tools
Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to solve
problems and handle customer service related issues Knowledge of
turf management, landscaping, and maintenance equipment Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Golf
Course Superintendent (CGCS) - preferred but not required Pesticide
