Physician Group - ArlingtonProfession: Sonographer, Maternal Fetal
Medicine (MFM)Start date: ASAPSchedule: 7:30am-4pm Monday through
Friday- unless someone is off, then it would be
8am-4:30pm.Duration: 13-weeks1 yr experience in MFM
requiredDEPARTMENT at VHC Health - Maternal Fetal Medicine, the
registered sonographer works closely with MFM providers, genetic
counselors, medical assistants, nurses, and patient care
representatives. We see on average between 50-100 patients between
4 MFM providers. We perform all OB exams and a few GYN Pelvic exams
s/p procedures.Our OB exams include: First Trimester Viability
Nuchal Translucency/First Trimester Anatomy Early Anatomy Detailed
Anatomical Survey Third Trimester Anatomy Cervical Length
Assessment Biophysical Profile Limited TTTS protocol with limited
sonogram Multiples Ultrasound Guided Invasive Procedures
(amniocentesis, CVS, D&C/D&E, Saline Sonohysterogram) Fetal
Echo Doppler studies (umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery,
ductus venosus, umbilical vein) We see a wide range of patient
diagnoses on a daily basis from congenital cardiac defects,
skeletal dysplasia, open neural tube defects, fetal growth
restriction, etc. We get multiple add-ons through-out the day.

vaccination series for COVID-19 is defined as the administration of
a single-dose vaccine (such as the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
COVID-19 Vaccine), or such as the administration of all required
doses of a multi-dose vaccine (such as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19
Vaccine).o If your traveler will not be fully vaccinated two weeks
prior to the start date, please alert the Qualivis team. These
situations will be sent to VHC for review.o If your traveler is
requesting a religious or medical COVID exemption, it will be up to
the agency to approve and provide supporting documentation. FLU:o
The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. (Oct 1st - Mar 31st)
Declination is only acceptable for medical reasons. Travelers that
wish to decline will need a Dr's note stating why they are unable
to received the flu vaccination and will be required to wear a mask
anytime they are within 6 feet of a patient. Dr's note must be
recent and it must be clear that traveler can not receive the flu

during assignment. Any RTO must be in initial submission and if
approved, also in confirmation document. Expect to work some
holidays. RTO approved at manager discretion.Number of months of
EPIC experience in the past 1-year (Start date will be determined
by EPIC class options. All travelers MUST attend either accelerated
or 2-days EPIC class. If a traveler is returning and was previously
at VHC within the past 6-months, they can forgo the EPIC class).
Workers should provide a statement of EPIC experience and will
either test out with one day training, or start with two days
training if EPIC experience is long in the past, or otherwise
minimal.Updated/accurate interview availabilityVCH needs the start

match this dateLICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Proof of license required.
Please note that travelers MUST have a VA license ACTIVE/IN HAND at
time of submission. Travelers with pending licenses will be
rejected. RADIOLOGY TECHS ARE THE ONLY EXCEPTION (IR Tech, CT Tech,
etc.). If an IR Tech has applied for a VA license, they can submit
WITH proof of application and all other supporting certs/licenses
included in their submission packet.P/F Testing: only for Clin Doc
accelerated class. One attempt given, if fail must take 2-day
class.On-Call - On-call only for some areas like OT, IR, Cath Lab -
30 mile/30 min to campusFloating, if required, shall be in rotation
with client staff, in accordance with client policies and standards
of the Joint are non-billable, up to 7 hours of modules
requiredModules are completed during orientation and factored in 16
hours of NBO, module hours vary based on specialtyModules are
