buildings that improve the world! WRA Is currently seeking a Junior
Policy Analyst to work onsite at our client, MDOT MTA, location.
This position will be assist in the review, organization, and
development of internal policies. This role involves researching
and documenting workflows, reviewing existing policies, writing new
policies, and sourcing relevant materials across various
departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical
writing skills, an understanding of policy development best
practices, and the ability to engage with different teams to ensure
policies reflect best practices and operational needs. Job
assignments will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Policy Review & Organization : Review and organize existing
policies to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with MTA
needs Identify and address gaps or outdated information in current
policies Help maintain a well-organized system for categorizing and
storing policy documents Policy Writing & Revision : Draft new
policies, which may require technical writing Revise and update
existing policies to reflect changes in regulations Workflow
Documentation : Collaborate with field staff and department
personnel to investigate and document current workflows Translate
operational workflows into clear, written procedures that can be
easily referenced in policy documents Cross-Departmental
Collaboration : Work with different MTA departments to gather and
integrate relevant documents Coordinate with subject matter experts
(SMEs) to validate policy details and ensure accuracy Research
Industry Best Practices : Conduct research to identify industry
best practices related to policy development Benchmark existing
policies against industry standards and provide recommendations for
improvements Requirements: 0-4 years of relevant experience High
school degree or equivalent required, Associate’s or bachelor’s
degree preferred Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
Experience building Wikis required Excellent written and oral
communication skills The expected hourly compensation range for
this position is $25.00 - $35.00 /hour . This range represents a
good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation
offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not
limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills,
work location, and/or experience. WRA is an equal
