-Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Member Development
(Sales), the Executive Director, Member Development is responsible
for---expanding the reach of The Academy by growing our member base
the healthcare industry space by managing a team of Sales
professionals. The Executive Director will also have responsibility
during the first 6-12 months of their tenure to carry an
-individual sales target in addition to team management
responsibilities. - -Primary Job Duties: -
- Coach and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve
revenue goals -
- Engage in member and prospect interactions with team members to
assist with closing business -
- Develop and execute strategic plan for selling health care
industry memberships and solutions to both prospective and existing
Academy Members -
- Drive revenue growth through acquisition of new members;
prioritizing multi-year system/org-level contracts - -
- Conduct consultative one-on-one and small group onsite meetings
to educate prospective members on our services -
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with CXO audiences

- Leverage understanding of the priorities, challenges, and
opportunities within the Health Care Industry at large; effectively
map challenges to Academy solutions - -
- Partner with The Academy's New Product Development team to
support go-to-market efforts on selecting new business lines within
Health Care Industry markets. -
- Ensure accurate forecasting of active pipeline units and
deliver clear narrative -
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Inside sales teams to
ensure effective sales activity generation -
- Collaborate with other internal departments to facilitate new
business -
- Facilitate a smooth hand-off of closed business to internal
Account Management teams while continuing to advise and support on
member satisfaction, renewal planning and future growth - -Minimum
Qualifications: -
- 8+ years of direct sales experience in a complex and
consultative sales environment -
- Experience managing or coaching a team of revenue quota
carrying sales professionals -
- Deep knowledge of Health Care Industry landscape and healthcare
trends -
- Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue goals and/or
quotas -

-Compensation: -Starting salary of $170,000 and up plus
