• Be the difference and make it happen?Role SummaryMetaPhase Consulting is supportingPeace Corps' Office of Analysis and Evaluation (OAE), within the Office of Volunteer Recruitment and Selection (VRS), which collects, analyzes, and reports data related to VRS activities, strengthening the measurement and evaluation of VRS performance and programs. OAE would like to improve methods to analyze and report Volunteer recruitment and placement data and services to improve business processes and provide information for decision-making. Peace Corps aims to integrate reports that OAE and other VRS Offices produce into a small number of Power BI dashboards and publish them as part of agency-wide performance improvement efforts. Additionally, the government would like to improve their business processes, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) strategies, and overall data quality.In support of this project, MPC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of professional experience to join our Peace Corps account and support VRS in analyzing business processes and systems to develop a standardized analysis methodology and publish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the agency Power BI dashboard hub. This is a highly client-facing role where you'll be communicating frequently with stakeholders. Candidates must work effectively in teams, be sharp, creative, well written, and articulate when speaking with senior client leadership.What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead stakeholder meetings to capture business requirements and offer solutions
  • Identify and solve the core business needs, turning vague or aspirational business requirements into clear and concise requirements.
  • Complete business process matrix documentation and business process maps
  • Complete high-level analysis of current business processes and reporting for Monitoring & Evaluation functions.
  • Identify dashboard needs and strategy
  • Develop a comprehensive list of KPIs by working with business partners/users to refine requirements and define them as "must have" and "nice to have" capabilities
  • Draft initial data logic document, including business processes inside the system and data sets needed by other systems for initial documentation of reporting and data requirements.
  • Assess initial business process changes, if needed, and dashboard user satisfaction.What We Need From You (Required)
    • Minimum of ten (10+) years of overall experience as a Business Analyst
    • Experience in developing Monitoring & Evaluations strategies
    • Minimum of 5+ years of direct Business Analyst responsibilities including:
      • Populating and managing client backlogs
      • Supporting technical and requirement documentation deliverables to clients
      • Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication
      • U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)Bonus Points (Desired)
        • Experience with supporting client Power BI development effortsWork LocationThe work will be performed primarily remotely. The Peace Corps Office is located at 1275 First Street NE, Washington, DC 20526.
