CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Energy Utility Analyst. Successful candidate will: Provide plans and conduct detailed economic analysis and modeling of current and future electric rates based on capital base maturity, technological change, fuel costs, emission and other regulation, and other macro-economic trends Provide analysis of current and projected utility tariff schedules and installation load requirements Develop strategies for alternate tariff schedules based on peak shaving or other load altering projects supported by detailed financial modeling Will work closely with Team Financial Analysts to ensure incorporation of proper macro- economic assumptions Required Skills Strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership to, collaborate and work with diverse team Strong communication skills to clearly and succinctly provide recurring and ad-hoc project updates and synthesizing information for key decision briefs and procurement actions Demonstrated excellent writing skills Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, project-centric environment Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Required Experience Must be able to obtaina Secret Clearance Must have a B.S./B.A., preferable in Economics. 10 years of directly related experience, preferably in the energy industry Selected candidate must have experience working large-scale energy utility projects. Individual must have experience working with utilities, public utility commissions, large Government or Department of Defense customers.
