We will consider medical and religious accommodations as required by law **ARC is hiring a Data Science and Insights Analyst to provide data analysis, research and experimentation at ARC for projects requiring statistical and mathematical modeling, data preparation, manipulation and wrangling, and scripting and coding expertise to create, test, and calibrate analytical models and related data analytics. In this role you will be a key participant in ARC data products team and may be assigned to other development projects as a cross-functional team member. You will work independently and on teams where needed to perform data analysis around ARC's global data products, interpret trends or pattern in the complex data set, design experiments and models, fully test and communicate findings via reporting. You will have the opportunity to present to both technical and non-technical audiences at the appropriate level, as well as package results for direct customer delivery.What You'll Get to Do:Own and execute data science, data analysis and related projects as a key member of the Data Science team at ARC.Perform data research and ARC product related analysis in support of external customers and new products and services.Create and calibrate analytical models and prototypes in support or ARC products, customers, research, and POCs.Develop new, thought-leading ideas to change the way ARC customers and the industry use travel data including ARC airline/agency/ticketing data as well as other correlated data sources.Fully test all aspects of analytical models and results and be able to test others' work in collaboration with the team to produce optimal outcomes including recommendations of best practice approaches and critical thinking challenges to approach. Test work from other members of the Data Science team to assure highest data integrity and quality results.Interpret data, analyze results using programming techniques and provide ongoing reports/findings to Internal and or external customers. You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in in an analytical, strategic, or related field requiredBachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, or computer science preferred2+ years experience required, 5+ preferredDirect experience in airline travel distribution preferredApplied statistical or numerical analysis, working with large and small volumes of dataCreating models, research, and reports preferably in the financial or travel industryDefining detailed model and research parameters in support of strategic and/or tactical projectsAbility to quickly learn/use new tools and dataAbility to communicate to a wide range of technical and non-technical team membersFamiliarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau etc.) preferredIn-depth knowledge of technical tools (i.e. SQL, R, Python etc.) and ability to learn new technical tools and platforms quickly is expected What We Can Offer You:Joining ARC means joining a team that is motivated, diverse, creative, collaborative and solutions-oriented.
