Guidehouse supports Department level programs and Chief Information Officers, and is looking for an experienced professional to help shape enterprise policies, respond to GAO, OMB, and OIG audits, and track executive actions through completion. - The selected individual will serve as a central member of our client's policy team, assessing our customers current posture, establishing roadmaps, working with vendors on both technical and non-technical solutions to policy development, audit intake, and providing thought-leadership across our segment. This Audit, Policy and Strategy Analyst will perform duties aligned with the following areas:

  • Identification and drafting of key deliverables and reports such as data calls and audit responses.
  • Coordinate Department responses to audit and policy updates.
  • Work Across Multiple federal staffs and with executives to collect input.
  • Support content editing and writing from draft development, through white glove prior to submission.
  • Track task completion and provide updates to senior leadership.
  • Support program management and business operations and may provide facilitation of routine PM ceremonies such as staff meetings, project planning, schedule management, reporting, and monitoring of performance indicators, risks and issues.
  • Business process/workflow design, implementation, and improvement.
  • Executive support for program governance and oversight processes.
  • Be a subject matter expert relating to technical aspects of the federal government.
  • Be a subject matter expert relating to government agencies relationship with Congress and other branches of government.

    The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
    • 6 years policy writing and analysis experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Experience with cybersecurity policies, requirements, and compliance.
    • Experience responding to OIG and GAO audits.
    • Professional experience in project management, management consulting, business process improvement. Project management experience can include Project Management Office (PMO) and Project Coordinator positions. The following experience/education/skills are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:
      • Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibleMasters degree in political science, public policy, business administration, economics, internatinoal affairs, public administration, or a related field.Project Management Professional (PMP), CISSP, or Scrum Master certifications.
      • Experience working on Capitol Hill or the executive branch in offices such as OMB, OIG, or GAO
      • Experience supporting large federal organizations.
      • Strong critical thinking, written, and oral communication skills.
      • Strong analytical skills and ability to lead multiple programs and activities.
      • Effectively interact with multiple levels of personnel (both internally and externally).
      • Ability to apply a variety of problem-solving techniques to resolve issues.
      • Demonstrates clear writing, confident presentation and effective facilitation skills .
      • Ability to tailor communication to effectively reach audience.
      • Continuously seek out and shares best practices.
