ENERGY & CLIMATE ANALYST Concurrent Technologies CorporationArlington, VA (Hybrid) Minimum Clearance Required: N/A Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: SecretConcurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) a leading provider of energy, sustainability, and climate consulting services to the federal government, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to support our defense clients in the area of energy and climate data analysis. A successful candidate will enjoy working in a small team environment to research a broad range of climate hazards, risks, and risk mitigation strategies as well as energy and sustainability topics identify potential solutions.Some travel may be required with this position. This is a hybrid position located in the Washington, D.C area, with the flexibility to work from home while participating in some in-person client and team discussions. Key Responsibilities: Support ongoing energy/water resilience efforts, with the objective of translating those processes and lessons learned into implementable frameworks Apply their technical, market, and policy knowledge across the sustainability, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate adaptation landscapes to help clients meet statutory, regulatory, and executive order goals and requirements. Develop and follow programs, projects, and initiatives from concept through implementation. Facilitate policies and strategies focused on improving installation energy and climate resiliency Assist with the development of tools, policies, and procedures to enhance Air Force energy and climate resiliency Help manage innovative approaches to tackling climate issues and impacts, such carbon-free energy pilot projects and net zero Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums Build strong client relationships Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, public policy, management, or related discipline with at least four (4) years of progressively responsible experience. Master's Degree preferred Possess an interest in identifying innovative processes and technologies to enhance energy and climate resilience Knowledge of major energy trends Willingness and ability to set priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a heavy workload setting Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to conduct research, apply principles, concepts, and methodologies to difficult and/or varied assignments Capacity to both lead and work in teams, and establish and maintain cross-functional and working relationships Provide original and creative input to meet objectives and new assignments Capability to independently initiate and manage tasks, with a high degree of detail and process orientation Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in engineering, science, public policy, management, or related discipline Experience in government consulting or supporting government organizations Proven experience in facility energy and water use management, with a focus on planning Familiarity with Air Force/DoD energy and water resilience requirements, processes, and tools Knowledge of Air Force structure and operations Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills Why CTC?
