Job Description:

Mayvin is currently seeking a Program Analyst II (Travel Policy Expert) to conduct processes and procedures as required by the program office. This position shall support the US Marshals Service. Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to pass a background check COVID Vaccine Certification is required to secure a position with Mayvin Inc. This is a direct flow down requirement in support of Federal Government contracting activity. Responsibilities: * Must be able to apply knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), Department of Justice Travel Regulations (DOJ-TR) to carry out program policies. * Reviews the cost/benefit analysis on travel authorizations and related expenses. * Reviews and analyzes travel documents submitted for completeness and accuracy. Ensures all necessary receipts are attached as required by policy. * Prepares manual travel authorization and travel vouchers in accordance with the appropriate policies and procedures. * Provides written procedures for system and personnel controls to identify areas of possible audit deficiencies and recommends corrective actions as needed. * Assists with audits related to travel expenses and claims. * Prepares reports monthly, quarterly and on an ad hoc basis capturing various aspects of travel data. * Responds and processes various types of inquiries related to travel policies, procedures, and costs from all levels of the Agency. * Reviews and processes travel authorizations and vouchers to ensure that information is compliant with current travel regulations; accurate documentation is attached; and accurate Spending Object Class codes are utilized. * Drafts agency policy for review and approval by Executive leadership. * Gather and organize information from a variety of sources such as records, computer files, previous studies, interviews, accountable property etc. * Prepare and edit various kinds of written correspondence. * Review and analyze documents submitted for completeness and accuracy. This may entail review of various invoices and financial documents. * Work in groups/teams on special projects to accomplish program goals. * Communicate via telephone and/or e-mail with high-level officials throughout the agency and District offices, as well as other contract affiliates. * Research and provide accurate information on matters necessary to carry out program policies. * Performance of cost/benefit analysis. * Constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying program capabilities and writing specifications. * Recommends controls by identifying the problem and providing written procedures for improvement. * Defining project requirements by pinpointing milestones, phrases, and elements. * Preparing statistical analyses and evaluation of program performance as it relates to various operations. * Developing and maintaining logs and databases to track program activities. * Provide administrative support to the various branch offices within the USMS Divisions. Prepare correspondence related to program issues for higher level signature. * Update automated records/database, as applicable. * Prepare a variety of reports, as needed. * Process various types of incoming inquiries and documentation. * Collect, compile and report data concerning weekly accomplishments. * Development of modeling Qualifications: * Bachelor''s Degree * At least three years of experience with Federal travel, Federal Travel Regulations, Review of authorizations and expenses. * Superior time management, organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Excellent written and oral communications skills. * Ability to review and analyze data and information from multiple sources. * Ability to prepare and format reports. * Skilled in the use of various computer applications to include momentum based financial information systems, cradle to grave electronic travel solutions, and Microsoft Office Suite.
