Where applicable, confirmation that you meet customer requirements for facility access which may include proof of vaccination and/or attestation and testing, unless an accommodation has been approved.Secure our Nation, Ignite your FutureGeneral ResponsibilitiesHave extensive knowledge and experience in obtaining, integrating, and reporting client dataDevelop and apply analytic methodologies and principles, including data mining, data extraction, text analytics, business intelligence, modeling data, qualitative, quantitative, and data visualization, in support of ongoing initiativesAssist in the application of analytic techniques and provide recommendations for objective and strategic directionAssist in resolving complex problems which require in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principlesAssist in analyzing acquisition data and formulate recommendationsDesign and develop materials, evaluating the effectiveness in accordance with stated Guidelines, Directives, Standard Operating Procedures, specifications and modelsAssist in conducting research, data gathering and technical reviewsProduce written deliverables to include reports, spreadsheets, databases, formal process, mapping, technical design and system testing and implementation activities with trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant dataCollaborate with the Administrative Analysts to support the missionPreparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.Skills RequiredMust possess at least 10 years of data analytics experience with setting up, organization, obtaining, analyzing, and reporting of data and make quires with dataHave extensive knowledge and experience in obtaining, integrating and reporting client dataHave data analysis experience and assist in the application of analytic techniques and provide recommendations for objective and strategic directionSelected candidate must be able to respond quickly to requirements and tasks with stringent deadlines in a demanding homeland security environment; possess strong critical thinking abilities and judgment skills; and be able to interact with various levels of people within and outside of a Government organization.Demonstrates written and oral communication skills - provides technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work, and reviews the quality of all work products.Utilize MS Office products, to include Project and all other applications provided upon contract awardStrong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze dataKnowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and PythonTechnical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databasesProficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzingKnowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, QlikKnowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutionsFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
