You are:

An innovator and problem-solver. You're an expert when it comes to protecting on-prem and cloud-based systems. And you can configure and deploy any security tool that comes across your desk. While staying on your toes, you design customized and cutting-edge solutions. You know security solutioning requires knowledge of infrastructure, trusted applications, continuous monitoring proper implementation of security appliances and virtual machines. You understand who or what is connecting to the network and how to properly implement security frameworks such as Access Control and Zero Trust.

The work:

Responsible for the cybersecurity posture and delivery of services protecting the clients Enterprise Information Technology Services EITS and systems. Includes the operation and continued innovation of cybersecurity services that minimally meet Federal and Departmental guidance. The scope of services include PKI IAM Ping, Security Monitoring Operations, Network Infrastructure Monitoring Security SOC, Assessment Authorization, Information Assurance, Vulnerability Management, Incident response, Risk Management Framework compliance, Continuous Monitoring, Threat Mitigation Remediation, and forensic support. Provide security architecture SME support of new or changed EITS services. Establish and maintain effective and positive client relationships and project governance

Support the design and roadmap to a Network Architecture Design within a large-scale environment to improve security posture or resolve organizational issues; Generate issue papers and reporting. Knowledge of modern enterprise and security architectures focused on the federal sector, their challenges, common approaches to overcome their challenges, and their inherent security strengths and weaknesses. Possess strong analytical, technical and communication skills with specific experience in SOC, security-as-a-service, and the associated current enabling technology roadmaps. Know how to secure an enterprise's architecture by determining security requirements. Knowledge of various security tools (e.g., AV, HIPS, firewalls, VPN, DLP, etc.)

Here's what you need:

---10+ years' experience performing Security Engineering, Security Architecture, or Cyber Fiscal related duties (Cyber and/or IT)

  • Experience managing or advising on an Enterprise IT budget
  • Hands on cyber architecture experience with 1 or more of the following domains: Security Monitoring, Threat intelligence, Incident response, Information Security (A&A), Penetration Testing
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Networking Concepts


    Bonus Points if:

    Strong understanding of FISMA and NIST SP 800-53
    • Strong understanding of Federal Policy
    • Subject Matter Expertise in one or more Cyber Domains
    • Strong understanding of Enterprise Networking Concepts
    • Experience performing requirements analysis

      • Able to pass a Department of Energy background check
      • Experience working with Federal clients and in a Federal environment
      • Experience working directly with Federal Executives and Managers
      • Strong understanding of FISMA and NIST SP 800-53
      • Strong understanding of Federal Policy
      • Excellent written and oral skills
      • Strong understanding of Cloud-based Services and the viability for Federal use
      • Subject Matter Expertise in one or more Cyber Domains
      • Strong understanding of Enterprise Networking Concepts
      • Experience performing requirements analysis
      • Experience drafting large (10+ pages) written deliverables to a Federal client

        As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $108,200- $151,600 and information on benefits offered is here.
