About this role:A Senior Principal, Digital Innovation partners closely with supply chain experts and researchers, client advisors, and software developers to understand client needs, design innovative solutions, manage the delivery of new research-based digital tools, and drive improvements to meet the needs of supply chain clients. As part of a team, a Senior Principal will identify product requirements and design solutions that solve complex supply chain business challenges at scale. This role will be in a newly created team within the Supply Chain practice and will report directly to the Vice President, Supply Chain Quantitative Analytics & Digital Innovation.What you will do: Drive innovation and continuous improvements to create/evolve assets/tools that are rooted in client problems and development best practices. Lead solution strategy, planning, and life cycle management effortsDissect client problems using qualitative and quantitative research and analysis skills, inductive and deductive reasoning, abstract thinking, and root-cause analysis.Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy client requirements and achieve business outcomes.Translate user requirements into actionable product and technical requirements.Apply design thinking and user experience principles to design tools that are actionable, consumable, high quality and easy to usePartner with cross-functional teams to deliver on the solution requirements against the roadmap.Think and implement with a platform and portfolio mindset to ensure that implementations work well together and solve for a broader business needContribute to the overall data asset and/or digital solutions strategy for supply chainDevelop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and surface and prioritize needs.What you will need:A Bachelor's degree required, and a Master's/PhD preferred7-10 years of related work experience; experience in project management, product management, or digital solution design preferredStrong business acumen and intellectual curiosity to process and understand information quickly, as well as diagnose issues to make actionable recommendations.Experience converting qualitative and quantitative information into clear frameworks and visually compelling presentationsWho are we?Gartner delivers actionable, objective insight to executives and their teams.
