SummaryLidl US is seeking an analyst to join our Customer Insights Management team. The Analyst of Market and Shopper Insights is responsible for leveraging market and shopper research to identify key opportunities within the organization, and answer strategic business questions to drive turnover, increase market share and enhance the brand perception of Lidl U.S. This individual will provide actionable insights to department stakeholders to enable them to activate key initiatives through analysis and presentations.What You'll Do

  • Run and format reports within multiple consumer panel platforms into presentations to support the Buying organization during ongoing assortment analysis
  • Identify regional differences in brand and item performance by category/ family to support in the strategic listing and delisting of assortment items/ brands
  • Analyze and understand the changes in market development for total FMCG market, Lidl and competitors, and communicate insights through cross departmental collaboration
  • Support the manager in ad hoc project requests, data pulls and analysis as requested
  • Build comprehensive, strategic presentations with actionable recommendations to be viewed and leveraged by department stakeholders and board level leadership
    What You'll Need
    • Minimum a bachelor's degree in business or related field
    • Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Excel and PowerPoint (Excel skills to include pivot tables and formulas to aid data analytics)
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines
    • Positive attitude in a dynamic environment where the team works quickly to react to last minute requests and still complete work on time
    • Self-motivation and highly professional demeanor
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and presentation skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of constituent groups such as senior management, peers, and outside contacts
