Job Description:

Capstone LLC is seeking a Help Desk Technician who will support the Office of the CIO for Naval Operations. The Help Desk Technician will answer telephone calls and emails requesting support, record the call information in the help desk system, and dispatch the call details to the ACTR or other group responsible to resolve the issues. This position is located 100% on-site at The Pentagon in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities - Records and dispatches IT Help Desk support for program personnel in various locations who have NMCI assets and peripherals in support of OPNAV.- Takes calls related to the client and creates tickets. - Enters the customers information into a ticket system and provides initial question response, keeping the customer calm.- Escalates tickets to the appropriate N-Code.- Maintain and update records as communication and documents are received.- Document all interactions in the help desk management system.- Maintains current knowledge of client systems and subsequent upgrades or changes. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent.* One (1) year of help desk experience.* Ability to type all details of the call into a ticket system.* Ability to learn customer support processes and techniques.* Ability to identify issue and use the appropriate work procedures to address. * Ability to handle sensitive calls in a respectful and patient manner.* Excellent communication skills allowing for effective IT communication across multiple working groups.* Experience using Microsoft Office.* Strong analytical skills. * Customer service centric attitude.* Ability to work as part of a team.* Empathy * Patience* Positive Attitude* Must hold current IAT Level I certification (e.g. A+, Network+) or higher.* Secret Clearance This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
