Position Summary: Millennium Engineering is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to provide senior cybersecurity policy and analyses services to support integration of space capabilities required to implement national strategy, policy, and guidance in the following areas: Cybersecurity program activities, Satellite Control Network communication system programs, Spectrum Management and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO-S) Provide cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) research, analysis, and recommendations to assess and accredit emerging cybersecurity capabilities and methodologies to include assessing controls, monitoring and reporting on controls and on the status of mitigation actions. Specifically, bring information systems through the full life-cycle of the Risk Management Framework process to achieve/renew Authority to Operate (ATO). These systems may include office/business systems as well as combat systems. The cybersecurity analyst will coordinate with government program offices and various In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) teams and their contractors to bring the systems through RMF. The senior cybersecurity analyst must have an in-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, DoDI 8500.01, and DoDI 8510.01. Duties & Responsibilities: --- Conduct cyber-related support analyses and assessments.--- Document, coordinate, advise, assist, review, and inspect required cybersecurity assessments, processes, and artifacts.--- Conduct cybersecurity analysis of system certification and accreditation plans to ensure systems are properly certified and accredited according to current cybersecurity policy.--- Prepare Assessment Reports and associated cybersecurity control validation reports.--- Assess information security related products and documents and interpret DoD, and Air Force issuances.--- Coordinate with other Air Force and Space Force entities in order to complete cybersecurity risk assessments and/or in accomplishment of contract requirements.--- Provide cybersecurity services, E/APL Certification and Technical Assessments, Technology Investigation and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) for Space and DoD/US intelligence information systems.--- Perform analysis services to include planning the objectives and requirements for test events; assisting the customer to prepare required documentation by providing review and feedback; preparing the test environment; executing the test activities and reporting results.--- Develop methods for validating cybersecurity requirements, determining vulnerabilities, developing cybersecurity tools and methods and conducting AoAs.--- Coordinate engineering analysis-level support to program management offices (PMOs) and System Program Offices (SPOs) throughout the Systems Engineering Lifecycle Process to ensure successful certification and authorization technology transition.--- Assess the cybersecurity process with the objective of identifying gaps and recommending improvements for cybersecurity package submissions and for the content and structure of required artifacts that will reflect and comply with the latest cybersecurity policies and guidelines. --- Conduct reviews of current security analysis tools and provide analysis for decision consideration of incorporation Skills: Strong technical IT and cybersecurity background- In-depth knowledge of DoD, USAF, and USSF cyber policies and procedures- Solid knowledge of NIST 800-53, DoDI 8500.01, and DoDI 8510.01- Familiarity with USSF/S6 organization and systems is desired- Excellent written skills since the cybersecurity analyst develops and/or updates written security related policies, procedures, and operations plans- Excellent verbal skills since the cybersecurity analyst works directly with the program offices and leadership to communicate progress, status, recommendations, and related information- Excellent teamwork skills since the cybersecurity analyst works in cooperation with program offices and other support organizations- Excellent organizational skills since the cybersecurity analyst must coordinate several cybersecurity tasks/projects at once- Knowledge of FISMA and FedRAMP regulations/requirements is a plus Physical RequirementsSitting, computer usage, typical office work.
