available.Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients struggling
with substance use and co-occurring disorders, utilizing
evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and
track progress throughout the recovery process.
- Implement client-centered and family-centered approaches, with
an emphasis on goal-setting and intervention strategies.
- Facilitate assessments and work collaboratively with clients to
create actionable treatment goals.
- Build and maintain supportive, empathetic relationships with
clients, offering consistent encouragement and motivation.
- Coordinate care with family members, referral sources, and
other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, holistic
treatment.
- Participate in case management tasks, including treatment
planning, referrals, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Medicaid,
Medicare, and CARF standards.
- Engage in regular supervision, team meetings, and training to
stay current on best practices in addiction counseling.
- Contribute to ongoing treatment team discussions and help
evaluate program effectiveness.Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work,
Counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience working with individuals impacted by
substance use or co-occurring disorders is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
for documentation and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to
work effectively with individuals, families, and treatment
teams.
- A passion for supporting others through recovery, with a
commitment to promoting long-term behavioral health
improvements.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and
training to stay updated on addiction treatment methods and

position typically ranges from $25 to $40 per hour, depending on
factors such as location, experience, and licensure.Note: This
