We are seeking a detail-oriented NDIS Operator to support the
administration and operation of the National DNA Index System
(NDIS). This role involves system monitoring, data management, and
technical support in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will
have a background in systems administration and a scientific
discipline, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and
ensure the integrity of sensitive data. Experience with CODIS is
highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain systems that support NDIS data processing and
functionality.
Perform system monitoring, log reviews, and data integrity checks
to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Assist in the administration of secure systems and applications
related to NDIS operations.
Follow standard operating procedures for data entry, validation,
and system updates.
Support CODIS-related workflows and contribute to system
troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders,
ensuring clarity in issue reporting and task coordination.
Maintain accurate documentation of processes, activities, and
compliance logs.
Ensure strict adherence to security protocols in a Top
Secret-cleared environment.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a related
technical support role.
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (B.S. or B.A.).
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multitasking
capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Active Top Secret Clearance (required).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CODIS operations or knowledge of forensic DNA
database systems.
Familiarity with law enforcement or criminal justice information
systems.
