  • Here at VHC Health - Maternal Fetal Medicine, the registered sonographer works closely with MFM providers, genetic counselors, medical assistants, nurses, and patient care representatives.
  • We see on average between 50-75 patients between 3 MFM providers.
  • Our sonographers are certified for cervical length examination through CLEAR and perform all OB exams and a few GYN Pelvic exams s/p procedures.
  • We see a wide range of patient diagnoses on a daily basis from congenital cardiac defects, skeletal dysplasia, open neural tube defects, fetal growth restriction, etc.
  • We get multiple add-ons through-out the day.
    • Job Requirements
    • GENERAL SKILLS: PACS, Portables
    • Ultrasound Experience: OBGYN, High risk OB, Nuchal Translucency, CVS
    • Vascular Experience: Doppler Studies, M-Mode
    • Equipment Experience: GE
    • Echo Experience: M-Mode, Fetal Echo (preferred)
    • Certs: RDMS-OB, NT- Nuchal Translucency
    • Years of MFM experience: Minimum 2-3 years
      • Schedule Information
      • Schedule: 7:30am-4pm Monday through Friday- unless someone is off, then it would be 8am-4:30pm.

        • DEPARTMENT DETAILS: Sonographers certified for cervical length examination, performing OB exams and a few GYN Pelvic exams post-procedures. They deal with a wide range of patient diagnoses daily.
