The Brokerage Operations Account Services Associate ensures that all Client brokerage accounts are opened and maintained accurately, including the review and cataloging of any relevant documentation. Additionally, this associate will assist with front office inquiries and processing items related to account opening, maintenance, documents, back-office systems and/or general account questions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Update client and account information within firm applications while maintaining a high degree of accuracy

  • Ensure account documentation is received, reviewed for accuracy and completeness, cataloged on the account and imaged in the firm's digital repository

  • Communicate directly with the front office by responding to emails and phone inquiries

  • Work relevant department reports within designated timeframe

  • Support Asset Management Account (AMA) check writing and debit card products

  • Assist in ad hoc projects required to be completed by the department

  • Assist in gathering materials and documentation for both internal and external audits

  • Adhere to the regulators and guidelines established by Financial Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory bodies



    *** Please note that this role will require onsite work at the client's location in Richmond, VA.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a financial and/or insurance environment

    • Minimum of 1 year of data analysis experience utilizing Microsoft Excel



      Preferred Skills:

      • Bachelor's degree

      • Financial brokerage industry experience



        Professional Skills:

        • Able to provide high quality client service

        • Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

        • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality

        • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
