Required:Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do :
- Support the Office of Talent and Organizational Development for
the Federal Transit Administration
- Provide communications support for learning and talent
development programs with an emphasis on leadership and DEIA
initiatives
- Create and manage communications content that will proactively
engage FTA stakeholders, including:
- Web content
- Blogs
- Emails
- General one-pagers
- Awareness campaign materials
- Key messages and talking points
- Presentations
- Maintain and update annual workforce engagement communications
calendar
- Develop communications approach for socializing learning
opportunities for both existing programs and to include newly
developed programming
- Edit content and ensure accuracy of client monthly publication
by interfacing with client staff and design department for on-time
delivery
- Ensure that all planned communications are sent, posted, or
distributed per the communications calendar; provide ad-hoc
communications support as requested by client
- Collaborate with staff across work streams to support the
client and project team in the development and implementation of
strategic communications
- Actively support business development activities to help
identify, research, and pursue opportunities for new / existing
clients
- Contribute to development of team's industry acumen and
capabilities through contribution to internal firm initiatives What
You Will Need :
- Years of experience: 3 years
- Level of education: Bachelor's degree
- Solid writing and editing skills
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of business,
both written and verbal
- Organizational and task management skills to effectively
prioritize time and resources
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to meet
deadlines as requested in a fast-paced environment
- Professional acumen necessary for success in client facing
role
- Desire to enthusiastically support DEIA initiatives
- Skills in Microsoft Office Suite What Would Be Nice To Have :
- Management consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience in a communications role
- Multi-platform, multimodal content development and
communications planning experience
- Experience partnering with internal and client facing teams on
content development to incorporate multiple stakeholder
viewpoints
- Highly skill level in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, MS
