Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's Louisiana-based export projects will service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.We are seeking a Specialist, Accounts Payable to join our Accounting team. This position will report to the Manager, Accounts Payable and be located in Arlington, VA.Responsibilities:Support the accounts payable function with a variety of daily activities including: vendor invoice processing in Coupa for both PO and non-PO backed invoices, accurately enter invoice general ledger coding, resolve PO and invoice matching issues, support weekly paycycle processing, vendor maintenance, provide prompt, complete and accurate responses to internal and external inquiries, and process the accounts payable inbox activityAble to organize, prioritize and complete numerous responsibilities accurately while meeting set deadlinesMaintain files and update documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesContinous improvement approach with a focus on issue resolution in a collaborative environmentAssist the accounting team with accounts payable related monthly accounting journal entries, reconciliations and other month-end close activities and projects as assignedAssist with state, local and IRS informational reportingOther duties as required and assignedQualifications:Associates degree3 or more years experience with accounts payable - experience in a PO environment is a plusExperience using Coupa and SAP S/4 HANA is a plusHigh attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skillsIntermediate Excel experienceAbility to organize and plan work effectively to meet goals and objectivesVenture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
