Analytics, and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)
development and sensor capabilities supporting both the
aerospace/defense and intelligence communities, as well as complex
HHS comprehensive care coding requirements and integrated
management systems for our countries civilian agencies (FAA, FDIC,
HOR, etc.). -

Overview
-Devis is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who
can work in a fast-paced and dynamic business-focused team. This
position will work with our HR Generalist and Executive Leadership
to provide strategic human capital support that aligns to the
programs and initiatives of the company, including:
- Attracting and Retaining Critical Talent
- Enabling Affordability & Efficiency
- Positioning our Products & Workforce for the Future
- Advising and Developing Executive Talent Pipelines - -As Talent
Acquisition Specialist, you will be a champion of Devis' culture
and values. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for
performing full-cycle results driven recruiting to support the
department and organizational initiatives by fulfilling "best in
class" candidate selection efficiently and effectively. -
Responsibilities
Provide strategic and sustainable Talent Acquisition solutions
aligned to the corporate strategy, including: -
- Conducts employment-related research and other methods of
sourcing qualified candidates.
- Conducts initial screening and initial contact of applicants to
determine qualification and interest level.
- Schedules Interviews in coordination with the Hiring Manager's
availability, qualification of role
- Manages job requisitions; post, edit, and update job
descriptions as needed.
- Participates in and provides analytical support in the design,
development, and implementation of recruitment projects and
programs.
- Maintain consistent communication with Hiring Managers through
bi-weekly conference calls, and timely responses to emails.
- Represents and promotes the company's culture to potential
applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and
collecting applicant data.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment,
hiring, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other
related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or
regulations.
- Serves as a resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and
practices to supervisors, HR staff, and others.
- Assists with identifying issues affecting the recruitment
process and implementing recruitment activities to continuously
improve processes.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment
laws and regulations, equal opportunity updates, and company
policies.
- Manage daily progress reports and weekly time sheets for the
project workforce.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications
- Strong Communication Skills
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to
adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all
levels of leadership, employees and peers locally and
virtually
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including the
ability to develop and analyze metrics -
- 4+ years of results proven recruiting experience in high-volume
services government contracting environment, focused on the Metro
DC area
- Self-starter: the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote
startup-like environment with minimal direction.
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices and legal considerations
involved in the talent acquisition and onboarding process.
- Comprehensive understanding of behavioral interviewing
techniques.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Self-motivated and resourceful with a focus on action
closure
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, or related field is desired;
-relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree;
typically requires 4+ years of relevant experienceDesired Skills
- Experience in Organizational Development, Leadership Coaching,
Workforce Planning and Management, and Compensation and is highly
desired
- Ability to demonstrate sound reasoning and judgment -
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn
applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems,
- Analytical skills and ability to present solutions to issues in
a concise manner to varying levels of leadership.Security Clearance
