Pyramid Systems is seeking experienced Agile Technical Leads for a key customer. Successful candidates are modern software architects experienced in translating business requirements into software architecture supporting multiple software development teams. In addition to strong -software development skills, ideal candidates have demonstrated experience in working on an Agile Scrum team. The primary location is remote and may require occasional travel to Fairfax, VA for team meetings or Washington, DC for customer meetings. Candidate must have excellent communication and public-speaking skills. This role is responsible for providing architectural support and leadership to multiple Agile Scrum -teams providing analysis, design, development, and testing of function-specific financial -applications built upon a variety of technology stacks. These stacks include primarily Java J2EE, SAP Business Objects, Oracle APEX (Application Express), as well as .Net and -Salesforce. Database technologies include Oracle and Microsoft SQL relational databases as well -as SQLite. Key tasks include:

• Assisting the product owner with developing an application O&M and modernization roadmap for a portfolio of applications.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance for migrating applications to Azure cloud.
• Support full system development life cycle using the above-listed application stacks.
• Understand business requirements and recommend sound solutions
• Participate in Application owner and Business User interviews to identify system functions and architectural and network-related dependencies
• Communicate with product owners to discuss problems and resolution
• Work independently and create/update technical documentation
• Learn and adopt new technologies quickly as required by the project
  
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong programming skills and experience working with Java (8 and newer), J2EE,
  • JavaScript, Business Objects, and Oracle APEX.
  • Extensive working experience in developing RESTful Webservices as well as other system[1]to-system intercommunication methods including SFTP.
  • Working experience and a fundamental understanding of IBM WebSphere, Microsoft IIS,
  • Documentum, IBM Infosphere, Salesforce, and Crystal Reports.
  • Experience architecting for and migrating to Cloud, particularly Azure Cloud.
  • Extensive working experience in XML and JSON technologies
  • Extensive experience working using DevSecOps principles and tools
  • Extensive experience working using CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, SonarQube
  • Extensive working experience and a fundamental understanding of writing queries with
  • relational databases such as Oracle, data modeling, SQL Server (or similar)
  • Experience in designing solutions for complex projects involving a large portfolio of applications -
  • Working experience in Agile methodologies Desired Skills:
    • Experience operating in traditional and Agile project models
    • Demonstrated experience in using Azure or other Cloud technologies Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other IT degree (Engineering, math, and/or science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees
