Job Description:

FI Consulting is a Microsoft Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Cloud Solution Partner, with several products and success delivering client solutions based on Microsoft's Business Applications / Power Platform. We are building a world-class team of Microsoft business applications professionals and are looking for experienced or high-potential Power Platform Consultants who want to grow with us.

As a Power Platform / Dynamics Consultant, you'll work independently or play a leading role on project teams to delivering business applications for customers. As part of that team, you will help analyze customer business needs and opportunities and apply Microsoft low-code/no-code Power Platform skills to design, develop, and implement creative business applications that drive substantive results.

About the Job:

* Apply your low-code/no-code development skills with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, and data analytics technology to deliver solutions to clients.
* Work independently or with a team on a variety of aspects of Power Platform development and implementation projects including requirements definition, design, configuration, customization, testing, integration, analytics and reporting, user readiness, and production support.
* Analyze and understand customer business processes, objectives, and challenges and then help implement solutions to address these.
* Facilitate functional workshops with customers, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions
* Work with the internal product team to develop Power Platform offerings that can be delivered to multiple customers.
* Communicate and translate technical concepts to non-technical customers and business leaders
* Collaborate with FI domain experts to present demonstrations of product and custom solution prototypes to prospective clients
* Continue to develop technical skills keeping up with emerging Microsoft technology and leveraging this knowledge to improve the capabilities of the firm.
* Deploy tools, best practices, and metrics to aid the development and performance management of future solutions and improve the capabilities of the FI team.

About You:

Required Skills:

* Have at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Financial, Economics, Business Information Technology or related field of study
* Proven academic success with a GPA of 3.7 or higher
* At least 2 years of experience with implementations of custom Dynamics 365 or Power Platform solutions.
* At least one or more of the following Microsoft certifications: MB-200: Microsoft Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Core, PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant, PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer, MB2-716: Dynamics 365 Configuration and Customization
* Strong skills in verbal and written communication, customer interaction, requirements analysis, presentation, and system design
* Understanding of custom plug-ins and how to implement them.
* Creative intelligence and intellectual curiosity, with a drive for excellence
* Commitment to being part of and contributing to the success of a rapidly growing practice.
* Secure and protect company and client data and information and prevent its improper disclosure.

Preferred Skills:

* Hands-on professional experience within a consultancy environment
* Familiarity with Power Platform code syntax and language requirements, API, or rest service integrations
* Experience with Dynamics/Power Platform data integration approaches
* Familiarity with developing plug-ins using software and tool like JavaScript, C#, Power Platform SDK, etc.
* Experience using Power BI for analytics, dashboards, visualizations, and reports
* Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and/or Outlook integration with Power Platform/D365
* Familiar with Azure DevOps or other similar enterprise planning and delivery tools

* Authorized to work in the United States as a permanent resident or US Citizen. We are not able to sponsor or accept any visa holders at this time including H1B.
* Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.
* Reside in the DC Metro area within 30 days of hire.
