Senior Technical Support SpecialistLocation: Arlington, VAMust
have Top Secret ClearanceThe Desktop Engineer will provide Tier 3
support with a primary focus on the development/implementation of
Windows Desktop Images and management of Virtual Desktop
Infrastructure. Staff will be expected to provide professional
customer-focused support while solving complex technical issues,
collaborate with others as well as work independently, provide
status reports to Team Leadership, and must be able to work
multiple projects in a dynamic environment.RequirementsGeneral
Requirements---Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI
eligibility.---Obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting
employment.---Work a fixed shift schedule with some flexibility for
night/weekend work.---Excellent communication skills, strong
attention to detail, ability to work multiple projects in a dynamic
environmentTechnical Experience---3 - 5 years of experience
engineering Desktop Management Solutions: SCCM/MDT (Windows OS
Image Development), Virtual Desktop Management
(VMware/Citrix)---Advanced Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows
Registry, DCHP Scopes, DNS Records, Print Queues, Group Policy,
WSUS Patch Management---VDI Administration: Master Images, Managing
Sessions, User Profiles, App Volumes---Research/Design Desktop
Management Solutions, Troubleshoot Issues with COTs---Liaison
between SME/Technical Teams, Manage Projects:
Updates/Changes---Resolve all Tier 2 escalated requests,
Train/Mentor junior staffDesired Skills---Azure AD, AWS Workspaces,
Software Packaging, PowerShell Scripting, SailPoint
Administration---VMware Horizon Infrastructure: Managing Images,
DEM Profiler, App Volumes, SDDCRequired Education and Years of
Experience:---Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience OR 1-3
years of applicable experience may be substituted for a
