Recovery of contractual subrogation monies from carriers if applicable to insurance contracts.Primary Responsibilities and Duties:+ Review each claim and decide actions necessary to investigate and process the claim in an accurate and timely manner+ Utilize the service of preferred repair firm service providers for the assessment of damages+ Work with moving companies to obtain inventories and documents, and to trace for missing items+ Settle the claim by working directly with the customer+ Recover monies from the moving companies for claims that have a subrogation component+ Work with daily reports to keep track of and manage claims that are currently in process+ Document each action that takes place on a claim in a database that allows client contacts to monitor the progress of the claimRequirements+ Minimum of 3 years in a claims or customer service position+ PC experience required, including data entry, Word and Excel+ Obtain adjuster's license in those states requiring licensing+ Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
