You are:

A National Security Portfolio Security Lead/Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) who will perform duties for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities and secure facilities. You will manage and administer all aspects of industrial security programs for multiple programs in compliance with the NISPOM, DCID's, ICD's and other applicable government security directives. You will assist with document control and physical security. You will conduct self-inspections; manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel. You will routinely interact with both internal and external customers in support of program-related activities.

The work:

  • Alarm response
  • Support personnel clearance processing
  • Manage a team of security professionals
  • Manage portfolio of all SCIF, SAPFs and secure areas
  • Meet with the PMO Leadership to set up new programs and address concerns
  • Management of DD254s
  • Daily use of personnel clearance data systems
  • Has access to NISS and DISS
  • Update and submit monthly reporting metrics
  • Assist with reporting to DCSA and IC agencies as applicable
  • Train and mentor incoming new personnel hired to fulfill various roles
  • Process outgoing visit request
  • Assist employees/candidates with security paperwork when needed
  • Assist with proposal requests, RFQs, RFIs and RFPs with contracts


    Here's what you need:
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • 10 years of industrial security experience
    • Experience leading a team of security professionals
    • Knowledge of NISPOM 5220.22-M, ICD policies and regulations, and SCI security nomination PERSEC processing for multiple agencies
    • Hands on experience with SCIF management and operations
    • Working knowledge of Scattered Castles, DISS, e-QIP, SWFT, and/or NCAISS
    • Completed COMSEC training and working knowledge of DIAS


      Other required skills:
      • Excellent communication, judgment and decision making skills


        Bonus points if you have:
        • Bachelor's degree
        • 10 years of supervisory experience
        • Demonstrated security leader with knowledge and experience in the IC and DoD security discipline
        • Experience building good working relationships with people at all levels
        • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify solutions
        • Working knowledge of the DCIDS, ICDs, and Executive Orders, to ensure security compliance
        • Knowledge of multiple security disciplines with various DOD and IC agencies - physical security, personnel security, information system security and industrial security to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs


          As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $119,000 - $169,699 and information on benefits offered is here .
