Title: Account Executive
Location: 100% Remote - Position is fully WFHCurrently only considering candidates living in Eastern (EDT) or Central (CST) time zones

Primary Function: Create and close new SaaS opportunities from inbound leads interested in our innovative employee performance management platform.The Account Executive (AE) will close new business by managing a high-volume pipeline of prospects. You'll need to generate new opportunities, close meetings with inbound leads, run effective sales calls and close enterprise customers in B2B SaaS.
The Account Executive will conduct demos for and build relationships with senior executives at our target companies. The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. This position has advancement potential within the sales organization, and the compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.
Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the value of PerformYard in sales calls
  • Generate qualified meetings with customers
  • Strategize with other top-producing sales reps and leadership
  • Efficiently manage long-term relationships with prospect companies
  • Effectively manage a high-volume of inbound leads (we provide all demo-ready leads)
  • Empathize with leads and help them overcome their challenges
  • Manage a large pipeline of interested organizations
  • Leverage CRM tools and sales automation to constantly make yourself more efficient
    • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in software sales
    • 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a sales, account executive or business development-related role
    • 1+ years of experience in a "closing" role and/or performing client demos
    • Candidates should have at least one of the following: sales experience, software/saas experience, or other related business experience in a corporate or professional environment
    • The ability to write crisp emails and present with a great phone presence
    • Knowledge of any of the following industry sectors a plus: Enterprise SaaS, Software, HR, Talent Mgmt

        Salary/Comp: Salary is based on experience, includes uncapped commission. In addition to your compensation plan we also have medical, dental, and vision health insurance benefits w/ HSA plan, disability insurance, 401k plan, generous PTO, paid holidays and other benefits.
