Job Description:

Mary Marshall (Assisted Living) is looking for two Trained Medication Aides to join the team to work the morning or the afternoon shift in Arlington, VA! The primary purposes of the Trained Medication Technician is to maintain our pharmacy database with up-to-date and accurate information. The Trained Medication Aide will report to the Director of Nursing or one of our Nurses on staff. The Trained Medication Aide will work on-site in the Mary Marshall Assisted Living Community. PAY: $17.50-$18.35 PER HOUR; Can Receive an additional 15% if you waive benefits. OPENINGS: The morning shift is: 7:00am-3:30pm The afternoon shift is: 3:00pm-11:00pm ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and have means of transportation.
  • Education: A minimum of high school education is required. CNA is required. Completion of a state approved training program in medication administration with certificate received.
  • Experience: Registered or certified nursing assistant in long-term care. Minimum of one-year experience working with a frail or elderly population required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
