Job Description:

Summary of Position:Reports to: Director Marketing and Sales; CEO/Principal. This position requires strategic thinking and passion about marketing. Working with the Director of Business Development, this person develops marketing material that effectively communicates the firm?s services, core capabilities and maintains corporate branding standards.Primary Responsibilities:

  • ?Assist management in the development of Business Development plans for the firm.
  • Manage, coordinate and prepare the firm?s response process to RFQs/RFP/Sources Sought including editing technical portions, write and edit non-technical portions of proposals, qualification documents, resumes and project descriptions and track performance ratios
  • Manage, coordinate and prepare client interview/presentation materials: banners, boards, handouts, PowerPoint, Prezi and other media
  • Assist in conducting marketing research for pursuit win strategies: monitor and investigate client/industry trends, client gaps, identify sales message based on research and suggest PR topic to build awareness
  • Develop and maintain project experience sheets, team resumes, project photography, historical deliverables and marketing collateral for library & re-use on proposals
  • Assists with the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, newsletters, email blast, case studies and brochures
  • Monitor sectors/clients to develop potential leads and opportunities to strengthen the firm?s growth potential, report information and data collected to Director of Business Development
  • Collect and share industrial and market intelligence among members of staff and management
  • Manage the Business Development marketing databases and other administration as necessary (ie- google docs; teams; sharepointe; indesign?)
  • Assist Director of Business Development, as needed, with weekly, bi-weekly & monthly reporting.
  • Evaluate any trade association and professionals that can positively impact business practices in the organization
  • Assist in developing and maintaining written content, photography, articles, relevant industry issues for website and social media outlets
  • Assist with research and prepare awards submissions
  • Ability to manage and navigate with marketing sites utilized, including but not limited to FBO; SAM; USASpend; FPDS; and CPARS
  • Hold active memberships in relevant professional organizations
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.Qualifications
    • BA/BS degree minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience
    • Excellent working knowledge of InDesign?; Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint?, and Excel
    • Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple marketing and administrative activities simultaneously
    • Ability to conduct online webinars using Webex or GoToWebinar.
    • Excellent communication skills, including excellent listening skills
    • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environmentPersonal Characteristics:
