            • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field XXXX Level XX. If you are not certified you must achieve certification within 24 months of appointment.
            • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
            • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
            • Per E.O. 14043, selectee(s) must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by 11/22/2021 or date of employment (which ever comes later) except in limited circumstances where an exemption is approved due to a disability or sincerely held religious beliefs.
            • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
            • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
            • This position may require travel from normal duty station.
            • You must currently possess or be willing to obtain a DAWIA Level III Certification in Contracting within 24 months of appointment.
            • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. Qualifications

              GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Developing contracts for the centralized acquisition of large quantities of items to meet consolidation requirements; (2) Procure items or services with specialized requirements, such as complex electronic systems and operations; (3) Negotiating procurement of complex and/or diversified supplies, services, construction, or research and development; (4) Negotiating contract requiring the development of new or modified evaluation criteria, reporting requirements, and contractual arrangements
