POSITION SUMMARY: 

Responsible for the development and implementation of the consumer communication strategies for Gerber US across touchpoints with a focus on Infant Formula & VMS.  He or She will oversee the efforts to strengthen and align the highly recognized and trusted Gerber brand to recruit consumers and increase loyalty. The successful candidate will partner cross functionally with market research, retail analytics, CCSD, field sales, finance and COE’s to ensure success is defined, goals are achieved and seamless execution of programs. This position frequently engages with senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, NiM Operating Companies, Global services, agencies, partners, and emerging platforms.                    
                        
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and lead consumer communication strategy and implementation across touchpoints.

•Actively work with CCSD to develop Customer or Channel Specific Marketing activities. Assess consequences of retail developments on Marketing            
•Work with cross functional experts to facilitate the strategy and execution of tactical touchpoint plans for the portfolio that help drive growth and address key business issues            
•Work with Market Research to execute research plans that yield rich consumer insights that can be translated into actionable growth programs                
•Playing an active role in monthly demand planning cycle and partner with the business leads and analytics team to identify key business insights                
•Proactively participate in the execution of innovation/renovation projects including developing and tracking metrics for success            
•Partner with Business Teams and Demand and Supply planning to improve demand plan accuracy forecast and bias across the portfolio                

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
•Bachelor's degree required
•Master's degree in marketing, business administration or a related field is preferred
•CPG experience preferred
•Requires at least 8 years of marketing experience, but heavily skewed towards Digital Marketing with proven success developing multi-channel strategies
•Experience in leveraging overall Marketing objectives and research to design and deliver impactful consumer communication marketing strategies. 
•Experience driving business results including communication development, forecasting, quantitative and qualitative research, and new product development / launches
•Strong experience in creative development
•Strong storyteller with a high level of curiosity and innovation
•Experience with syndicated data (IRI / AC Nielsen) will be a plus
•Solid analytical skills and business acumen 
•Strong business expertise including objective setting, ROI measurement and budget management
•Ability to lead teams collaboratively and effectively across internally functions & external agencies/vendors
•Ability to influence, teach and energize cross functional team members
•Works extremely well in leading and participating in matrix organization and multi-disciplinary teams 
•Has demonstrated success in challenging and fluid business situations      
•+ 4 years’ experience in marketing
•Operation experience in social, PR, & digital
•Experience managing functional / department Budget
•Experience in managing digital agency and tech vendors
