Are you looking to take on the challenge of end-end responsibility of a new product from scratch in Amazonian Experience Technology group (AET)? As a Sr. Product Manager Technical, you will develop the strategy and vision for the product, and you will define and build the road map. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with other product managers, engineering, design, operations, and executive teams to launch product in phases. Your key responsibilities will be to collect requirements, define technical strategy, build roadmaps, prioritize workload and execute on a comprehensive roadmap. Ensure a smooth experience for employees and business partners. This position will require the ability to be customer obsessed by working closely with business partners and using data to prioritize the most important use cases. We are looking for a candidate that is obsessed with creating a customer-centric experience while understanding the back-end technology that will ensure success of the product and the vision. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working cross-functionally. The candidate will need to think big towards a product vision while delivering results incrementally and be comfortable analyzing data to develop business cases, prioritize features, and understand the impact of product launches. You will work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of a new product.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to define the product roadmap and balance business priority against cost, risk, and system capabilities.
  • Define and deliver key performance indicators and/or success metrics for goals and features.
  • Recommend future system features and/or functionality based on business needs, voice of the customer, and/or new technical capabilities.
  • Play active role in optimization and process improvements between product, design, and engineering teams
  • Lead without authority by building relationships
  • Lead effective, productive meetings, facilitate complex discussions and drive for clarity
  • Manage bug backlog, determines priority of bugs and which releases they are assigned to
  • Author documents including business cases and work orders for new technology investments and resources, monthly or quarterly business reviews, and papers that describe the vision of your product.
  • Develop business requirements and user stories that can be used to create specifications and architecture for your product.
  • Lead discussions of complex business problems with cross functional groups from all levels including senior leadership, subject matter experts, architects, and developers.
  • Build trust through strong, long-term relationships with cross-functional business and engineering teams
  • Mentor team members and provide feedback to help them develop
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • MBA or advanced technical degree
  • 7+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, preferably Service Cloud
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Strong executive presence and ability to interface with senior leaders internally and externally.
  • Possess a track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional projects to successful completion
  • A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a proven track record of shipping software quickly then iterating on the experience
  • Experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, develop technical designs, and establish product strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product and business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
