Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Operations Tranformation service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.


  • Data Collection and Analytics: Developing data analytic tools to reconcile and performing data manipulation of various data sources with respect to system requirements development and performance optimization
  • Capability Analysis and Documentation: Performing capability analysis to maintain an overarching view of mission architecture performance, leveraging the overarching mission architecture to evaluate the current state to identify high priority capability gaps
  • Emerging Technology Maturation and Transition: Supporting communications with vendors to ensure evaluation results drive rapid iteration and improvement of emerging technologies and technology insertion opportunities
  • Enterprise Systems Engineering Tech Management Process: Assisting in acquisition planning and the execution of Technical Management processes including Configuration Management, Technical Data Management, Technical Assessments, and Quality Management
  • Program Engineering Analysis: Providing support to engineers conducting engineering analysis, reviewing technology and systems requirements to support the mission, supporting technology trade-off analyses, and providing implementation proposals

Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Requirement Management, TT-Enterprise Information Management, TT-Digital Services & Innovation

Required Skills: Requirements and Capability Assessment, Requirements Elicitation, System Expertise (RSA Archer, ServiceNow, Hiperos, KY3P, Tableau), Internal Control - Program Risk Management / New Systems Implementation / Major Systems Change, Risk Management Rule Mapping and Gap Assessment , Overall Years of Relevant Professional Business Experience, Project Management Experience

Required Technologies: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Jira

Required Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.

Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.

U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.

Travel may be required.

Ability to work overtime required on occasion.

Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.

Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
