Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to
2 years with PhD.
Position supports a Data Sharing Environment
Position is for an SOA/ESB Developer. Need extensive experience in
technologies listed below:
Oracle Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Oracle service oriented
architecture (SOA) stack. Maintains synchronous and asynchronous
requests with many internal and external customers for visas and
passports. The customer uses SAFe 4.5 and maintains PL/SQL, Java,
and web services to manage interfaces.
Creates, modifies, and tests code, forms, and script that allow
computer applications to run. Works on developing applications from
specifications drawn up by software developers or other
individuals. Writes, analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs,
using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of
computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Conducts
trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they
will produce the desired information and that the instructions are
correct. Performs or directs revisions, repairs, or expansion of
existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new
requirements. Writes, updates, and maintains computer programs or
software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking
inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other
equipment. Consults with managerial, engineering, and technical
personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest
changes. Performs systems analysis and programming tasks to
maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a
systems programmer. May assist software developers by analyzing
user needs and designing software solutions. May develop and write
computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific
documents, data, and information.
Analyze functional business applications and design specifications
for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel,
manpower, logistics, and contracts. Develop block diagrams and
logic flow charts. Translate detailed design into computer
software. Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce
the required product. Prepare required documentation, including
both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhance software
to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Provide technical
direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
Experience in information system design, including application
programming on large-scale DBMS and the development of complex
software to satisfy design objectives.

Salary Minimum: $63,689.60
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the
Perspecta salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary
and may be above or below the range based on various factors
including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
The range listed is just one component of Perspecta's total
compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include
