Clearance: Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel
Security Clearance. Must be eligible for and able to obtain and
maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals. A TOP SECRET
Personnel Security Clearance may be required to meet changing
Description/Duties: Responsible for the organization, tracking,
and accounting for project material and assets in support of DS
operations world-wide. This individual is the focal point for all
material processing and logistics for the program including using
the Diplomatic Security (DS) work management system (currently
CMMS/ILMS) to track and manage assets and other materials and
working with other technical teammates to input and process Bills
of Material and Purchase Requests using the DS work management
system, and route them for approval.
Requirements/Qualifications: At least five years technical and
related experience in the field of coordination and support for
technical systems and programs (e.g. communication and radio
systems, electronic countermeasures systems, personnel and tracking
location systems, sense and warn systems).
Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work
effectively under minimal supervision. Must demonstrate the ability
to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional,
diplomatic, and tactful manner. Must demonstrate a good attitude
and ability to work as a member of a cohesive team. Must be able to
multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on
multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail. Must
possess excellent writing and verbal skills. Must be proficient
with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation
software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel OCONUS to conduct
inventory, or provide technical assistance at diplomatic
facilities. OCONUS travel may include critical threat locations
around the world with austere living conditions. Domestic travel
may be required for training and program coordination.
