PAE is seeking to hire an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO)/ Facility Security Officer (FSO) to work out of our Metro-accessible Arlington office to join our diverse and dynamic security team. This position serves as a member of the FSO team within PAE Security and supports security operations within the National Security Solutions (NSS) business line of PAE.Duties may include, but are not limited to: Support Senior and Junior FSOs and other security personnel in managing a fast-paced multi-facility organization Responsible for maintaining security program compliance to include managing NISS facility profiles, submitting changed conditions packages, FCL Sponsorship packages, and responding to FCL packages Applies mitigation policies and procedures to minimize incidents Maintains data compliance in multiple DISS accounts Performs self-inspections, participate in government telephonic reviews and inspections Problem solving and troubleshooting Exhibits leadership and decision-making ability within the scope of the position Exhibits mentoring, team building and coaching ability Produces finished documentation; e.g., reports, special studies, policy and procedure development, security designs, training programs and assessments. Provides research and technical support to projects, produces solutions and documentation, and monitors project tasks and schedules.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; a combination of college and work experience or 3-5 years related Industrial Security experience may be substituted in lieu of degree Must have TS/SCI clearance required Must have completed the CDSE/STEPP FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities or equivalent Must have Physical Security experience Must be able to manage special projects and training initiatives Must be a team player and able to adapt to changing requirements, priorities Must be able to work in flexible environments and locations around the WDC Area Understand, respect and follow the chain of command Accountable for actions Must provide examples of process improvements and efficiencies from current/previous employment Experience working with a security system of record in coordination with JPAS, DISS, NISS, NCCS, eQIP, and other government security systems of record Must have working knowledge of the NISPOM and able to interpret government policy (NISPOM, ICD, SEAD, etc) Must be proficient with Microsoft Applications Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills Must be self-motivated and have a sense of urgencyPreferred Qualifications: TS/SCI w/Polygraph NCMS ISP Subject matter expert and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline and experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies is preferable.PAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
