Job Description:
Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an Application
Developer to support mission critical Department of Homeland
Security efforts based out of Ballston. Mostly remote for now but
some on-site required after COVID. DoD Secret clearance required to
start. Responsibilities for the Application Developer Include:---
Evaluate proposed and existing software systems and solutions that
support various cyber software activities--- Full stack development
on new and previously developed security software--- Provide high
availability, tracking performance with monitors and alerts---
Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to
strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints
Qualifications for the Application Developer Include:--- Expertise
doing full stack development with Python, C, or C+--- Strong
understanding of Cybersecurity--- Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science or equivalent--- CSSLP or Security+ are a plus--- Active
DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI w/ DHS suitability preferred; can hold
polygraph as well) Compensation for the Application Developer
