Job Description Job Description Job Title : Application Development – GoLang Developer IV (Contractor) Request ID: 173496-1 Contract Duration: Feb 16, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026 Work Location: DCW26 – Washington, DC (1325 G St NW, Suite 300) Pay Rate : W2 : 95 C2C : 105 Role Overview We are seeking a Senior / Engineer IV GoLang Developer who will lead technical initiatives, design and deliver scalable solutions, and drive high-quality engineering outcomes for the team. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Go, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate is self-driven, comfortable owning complex systems end to end, and experienced in mentoring and influencing technical direction. Key Responsibilities l Lead design and development initiatives using Go (Golang) l Design, build, and maintain distributed, cloud-native systems l Develop new functional features and enhance existing services l Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects l Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability l Refactor existing codebases to optimize performance and scalability l Participate in solution design sessions and technical decision-making l Decompose business requirements into detailed technical requirements l Accurately estimate development effort and timelines l Produce and maintain solution and technical documentation l Perform reverse engineering to understand and improve legacy code l Work extensively in Linux environments, managing system-level integrations Required Qualifications l 6 years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang) l Strong experience with Terraform and Kubernetes l Experience with container technologies such as Docker l Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture l Hands-on experience with messaging systems: n NATS n Kafka n Kinesis l Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure l Strong Linux background, including: n PKI certificate management n SSH key management n System-level troubleshooting l Experience with authentication and access mechanisms: n Single Sign-On (SSO) n Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) l Working knowledge of: n Active Directory / LDAP n LDAP querying, filters, and schemas n Linux PAM authentication modules l Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases l Proficiency with GitHub or similar version control systems l Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications l Experience working with AI or Video-related systems l Experience building MCP servers l Prior frontend development experience using React l 2 years of Python programming experience l Prior experience with private cloud environments l C programming experience (2 years preferred) l 6 years of programming experience on Linux OS l Experience with JavaScript l Industry certifications in: n AWS n Azure n Kubernetes n Terraform Company Description Staffing Company (Confidential) Company Description Staffing Company (Confidential)
