Job Description:
The Position: We are looking for eager, driven candidates with
experience in people management, communication, facilitation,
problem-solving, and analysis to guide our teams in developing
impactful solutions to modernize IT products and solutions for our
Federal clients at the Department of State. In this role you will
provide comprehensive project management support within the
Information Technology Resource Management team. The IT Project
Manager will assist with the entire project management lifecycle of
modernizing a portfolio of IT products including: resourcing,
integration, and implementation for the client. This role requires
a deep understanding of Department of State software systems and
the ability to modernize and implement software solutions of
applicable to IT business systems operations. Some of your key
responsibilities will include: Project Management: Oversee the
complete lifecycle of IT projects, including initiation, planning,
execution, monitoring, and closure. Define project scope, goals,
and deliverables to align with client requirements and
organizational objectives. Modernization & Implementation: Lead
initiatives to modernize Department of State IT products and
systems. Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration and
implementation of new software solutions for business systems
operations. Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively to
meet project timelines and ensure quality deliverables. Forecast
and allocate budget, personnel, and other resources for optimal
project execution. Client Interaction: Maintain strong
communication with Federal clients to understand their needs and
expectations. Provide updates, presentations, and progress reports
to stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve challenges
during the modernization and implementation phases. Facilitate
brainstorming sessions and discussions to devise impactful
solutions. Team Collaboration: Guide teams in developing innovative
solutions to improve existing IT systems. Foster a positive and
productive environment through facilitation and support. The Ideal

the core qualifications for the role include: Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
Business Administration, or a related field. Active SECRET
clearance. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL,
Scrum, or similar). Junior PM: minimum of 2 years of experience in
project management. Mid-Level PM: minimum of 5 years of experience
in project management. Senior PM: minimum of 8 years of experience
in project management. Hands-on expertise in managing IT project
lifecycles, especially within Federal agencies or similar
environments. Familiarity with Department of State software systems
and processes preferred. Deep understanding of IT products and
systems, particularly those applicable to Federal clients.
Proficiency in modernization strategies and implementation
processes for IT solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving,
and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and
deliver results under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail

Location: Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a
fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid
setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office
conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks

in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back
in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and
game nights. The Fine Print: The salary range for this role is
$70,000 - $160,000 depending on experience Expected travel 0-10%;
may increase based on business needs This is an exempt, full-time
position This role is subject to an in-person work schedule in
Washington, D.C. with the possibility for hybrid work Essential

time Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less
