Job Description:
DutiesIn a Career Broadening capacity, ensures IT system plans
support and enable business strategy and business transformation
initiatives.In a Career Broadening capacity, plans, organizes and
directs the evaluation, review, analysis, and assessment of
solutions to a variety of complex programmatic information
technology architectural and acquisition problems, issues, and
studies.In a Career Broadening capacity coordinates with
organization-level portfolio managers, system program managers and
Headquarters Air Force (HAF) IT compliance subject matter experts
to ensure systems and investments comply with applicable laws,
regulations and policies.In coordination with senior stakeholders
both inside and outside the AF/A4 organization, develops and
continually improves IT governance and service strategy development
processes to ensure effective and efficient review and approval of

candidates brings certain experience to the assignment while

completion of the career broadening assignment, the temporary
promotion may lead to permanent promotion without further

EXPERIENCE: Individuals must have IT-related experience
demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:Attention

customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services
or products that your work unit produces, including the general
public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or

ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into

typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work
where the primary concern is IT. This definition of specialized
experience is typical of work performed at the GS-13 grade/level or
equivalent in the federal service.FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE
(TIG)REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Applicants
must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-13 or higher grade (or
equivalent in an alternate pay system) within the Federal Civil
Service to be considered for referral. TIG applies if you are in a
current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52
weeks.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications
will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills,
abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:1.
Comprehensive knowledge of and the ability to apply laws, policies,
regulations, and practices related to ITcapital planning and
investment controls for business systems.2. Knowledge and
experience with strategic planning methods, concepts, strategy
development and performancemanagement as they relate to IT service
delivery.3. Knowledge and experience in information technology
portfolio management, enterprise architecture, andimplementation
lifecycle of custom software systems and commercial off-the-shelf
(COTS) systems.4. Knowledge and experience with conducting business
case analysis and evaluating project proposals againstfinancial and

On 22-Dec-2017, Public Law 115-97 - the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of
2017 suspended qualified moving expense deductions along with the
exclusion for employer reimbursements and payments of moving
expenses effective 01-Jan-2018 for tax years 2018 through 2025. The
