Overview
LMI is seeking an senior SAP Basis Architect for a partially remote
position. This position requires an active Secret Clearance, for
which you must be a US Citizen. LMI is a consultancy dedicated to

Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with System
Integrator, Shared Services Center, Managed Service Provider, and
Cloud Service Provider contractors, and Data Center teams for
managing SAP solution architectures and operation of SAP
environment as a factory.
- Adhere to Agile SAFe methodologies for functional and technical
capabilities, and tool development, practicing DevOps continuous
integration/continuous delivery pipeline of working software
- Work with business and project teams to troubleshoot Business
Application Software Integrated Solution (BASIS) issues and to
implement appropriate solutions.
- Work SAP application server technology like Netweaver that
interface database, operating systems, communication protocols with
business applications (e.g., FI/FM, CM, SC, PPE).
- Work closely verifying and validating requirements with the
Audit, Functional, and Security teams
- Understand compliance requirements which may impact BASIS and
works with business and project teams to develop solutions which
address these requirements.
- Establish, document, and ensure adherence to SAP BASIS policies
and procedures.
- Perform and monitor routine system health checks to identify
weaknesses in SAP system configurations and coordinate with
management to take corrective action.
- Manage the full life cycle of role changes from design,
development, testing, and final move to production.
- Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, and standards are
in place per policy and guidance performed on IT business
systems.
- Assist with analysis of applicability of SAP security Notes,
Hot Notes, Service Packs, Enhancement Packs to all landscape
environment(s).
- Serve as a trusted security advisor to the program office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or 10+ years of SAP Basis experience) in
Information Systems or related field
- 10+ years of IT experience with emphasis on SAP Solutions
- 10+ years' experience in BASIS Administration (preferably in
public sector)
- 5+ years of experience in the US Army GFEBS (or GFEBS-SA)
system
- Experience with administrating both ABAP and JAVA systems
- Experience with administering ECC, BW, BO, BOBJ, PI, Portals,
SRM, ChaRM and Solution Manager systems
- Experience with SAP Upgrades, Backup/Restores, High
Availability Solutions, Disaster Recovery Solutions, Transports,
and system tuning in a cloud environment
- Understanding of SAP roadmaps around cloud products and
integration with on-premises systems
- Experience in the following SAP modules: FI, CO, FM, PS, MM,
SD, HR and HANA; and associated Administration, Monitoring, and
Performance Tuning
- Expertise in IT processes, project life cycles and agile
methodology (like SAFe)
- Solid organizational, project management and time management
skills
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage projects and adapt to
changes in priority efficiently
- Ability to translate the business vision into technology
deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, technical
documentation and briefing skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

operate under stringent deadlines
- Experience using iGRC and eGRC to manage and approve restricted
role requests is highly desired
- This position requires an active Secret Clearance, for which
