The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of automation.What You'll Get To Do: Join our team to work on a data fusion and AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) to develop geolocation and tracking systems. We are focusing on architecture and development of a geolocation fusion engine for interferometry, RF ranging, and other sensor types. Our small but highly energized Agile Scrum team has a significant software effort within a Research & Development environment.   • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 14 years related years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Experienced developer in Python and adept of all phases of software development
  • Experienced with git and/or other version control systems
  • Development in Docker containers or similar
  • US Citizenship is required in order to obtain and maintain security clearance Preferred Qualifications
    • STEM degree preferred, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc
    • AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) experience
    • Google protobuf experience
    • Experience with C/C++ and/or Java
    • Experience with BitBucket, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools
    • Practical experience in an Agile / Dev*Ops environment
    • SIGINT Domain knowledge or RADAR systems experience
    • Current active SECRET security clearance Salary Range: $141,800 USD - $212,800 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
