Senior Data Analytics Developer
Position Description
An exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced
environment with a team of passionate technologists. We take an
innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side
in an agile ecosystem using emerging technologies. As a senior
solution builder, you will be working with business and technical
experts supporting the client's mission and goals of building a
world class analytics platform. The candidate will be working in a
team that demands technical excellence and whose members are
expected to hold each other accountable in the overall success of
the output. The candidate should have superb analytical and
technical skills coupled with the ability to drive project
deliverables, and collaborate with more junior members of the team
as necessary.
Your future duties and responsibilities
--- Function as a hands-on developer of Low-Code applications -
participating in design, document, develop, deploy, and maintenance
of processes using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
--- Collaborate with business and mission experts to deliver robust
solutions that drive powerful experiences to help the Federal
government achieve mission goals through back office efficiency
--- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends,
experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in
internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members
of the community, and be asked to code or evaluate code
--- Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS,
TypeScript, SQL, Python
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite
with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained
throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the
government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US
citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
--- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent job
experience preferred
--- At least 5+ years of recent experience in designing,
developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications as a
Developer
--- Proven track-record of quality software development
--- Experience creating benchmark tests, designing for scalability
and performance, and designing/integrating solutions.
--- Drive complex ideas into an implementation plan
--- Ability to evaluate emerging vs. more established
technologies
--- Ability to perform detailed analysis both technical and
business/mission focused
--- Strong oral and written communication skills
--- Experience with cloud-based software implementations
(optional)
--- Understanding of Federal Financials (optional)
--- Strong background working with low-code applications
(optional)
--- As a Federal Contractor, all members of CGI Federal, regardless
