WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking a highly motivated and organized Market Research Manager to manage a suite of research projects in support of the U.S. Army Marketing and Advertising Program. This individual will function as technical lead and project manager for multiple quantitative and qualitative studies, ensuring that all components of the research design are in sync and on track against deadlines. Successful individuals in this role will have a strong research background and thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven and highly collaborative environment. Additionally, comfort with ambiguous and evolving nature of projects is a central component of this role.
This position is for a full time (40 hours per week), contract through March 31, 2025, option to extend depending on available work. We are able and looking to hire immediately.
Responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple projects employing quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Developing and tracking project schedules to ensure required deliverables are submitted in a consistent manner, error-free and on-time to the client.
  • Communicating study progress to agency and client teams in a clear, concise manner.
  • Guiding the creation of study materials such as questionnaires, discussion guides, and analysis plans.
  • Guiding the interpretation of study results to identify patterns and insights.
  • Overseeing the development of presentation decks that summarize research methods, findings, and implications.
  • Overseeing project tasks and collaborating with project team on a day-to-day basis to work under tight deadlines to fulfil client requests.
  • Coordinating with vendors and internal team members toward completion of study tasks.
  • Anticipating potential barriers to project completion, proposing solutions to team leadership.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in communication, social science, or related field.
    • At least 10 years of applied research experience required with at least four years of experience in a senior role.
    • Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects including management of project timelines, budget and scope in fast-paced environments working on tight deadlines.
    • Experience managing complex client and/or stakeholder relationships and maintaining high satisfaction.
    • Experience producing and delivering clear, compelling presentations that illustrate research findings, insights, and recommendations for a non-technical audience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and experience communicating effectively with senior leaders and clients.
    • Quantitative proficiencyand experience with at least one statistical analysis software package (e.g., SPSS, STATA, SAS, R). Experience writing code/syntax in Stata preferred.
    • High degree of team orientation, as well as ability to work independently under minimal supervision to effectively balance and manage personal workload.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of organization.

        Position Status: This position is for a full time (40 hours per week), contract through March 31, 2025, option to extend depending on available work. We are able and looking to hire immediately.
        Salary: $113,200 - $130,000 annualized
        Location: Remote, United States Residents only
