Job ResponsibilitiesAudit and maintain quarterly reports, 401(K) deposits and related completion of quarter and year-end closings, deposits and filings from ADP.Balance direct deposit payroll data and release to bank via phone.Prepare wire transfer request forms for all payrolls.Prepare employment verification requests, unemployment claims, administer terminations, bonuses, relocations, STDs, LOAs and garnishment payments.Answer payroll inquiries from employees, management, banks, governmental agencies, etc.Prepare journal entries as needed, such as to record void checks, errors, etc.Process, audit & review all Concur domestic and international travel expenses.Administrator for Deltek CostPoint and timekeeping system.Work involves sensitive and confidential information; discretion is essential.Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.Responsible to process payroll including balancing and reconciling all payroll figuresPrepare reports as required by location, calculating the new gross YTD payroll using beginning gross, new hire gross, gross salary increases, termination gross, etc.Balance the total YTD payroll figures calculated on the control worksheet to both the Employee File Maintenance Report and the Payroll Balance Sheet reportsBalance direct deposit payroll data and release to bank via phonePrepare wire transfer request forms for all payrollsBalance all garnishments and issue checks to appropriate agencies through accounts payable systemPrepare verifications of employment for employee credit applications, mortgages, etcBalance all year end W-2 data, including gross wages, taxes, life insurance, moving expenses, car allowances, etc.Answer payroll inquiries from a variety of sources including employees, management, banks, governmental agencies etc.Prepare journal entries as needed, such as to record void checks, errors, etc.Analyze various payroll liability and cash general ledger accounts on a monthly basisAbility to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a multi-task environmentWork involves sensitive and confidential information; discretion is essentialQualificationsMust have at least five (5) plus years of payroll experience.Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience, Associate degree preferred.Knowledge of payroll business procedures and principles.Working knowledge of computerized payroll systems.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of local, state and federal laws that pertain to the payment of wages.Deltek/CostPoint, Concur, ADP experience preferred.Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
