Overview:Epic Credentialed Trainer - PhysiciansThis position is primarily focused on provider support and provider training. Strong candidates will possess the ability to train on an array of provider-facing Epic Applications, with an emphasis in Orders and Ambulatory. Experience in Cupid, Radiant, Anesthesia, Stork and ASAP preferred. This position is responsible for conducting training for clinical and non-clinical end-users in Epic Systems applications, as well as other computer systems throughout VHC, under the direction of the IS Education and Epic Training Manager. Training is typically conducted in the classroom as well as in the practice. The trainer is assigned application(s) and is responsible for achieving an in-depth understanding of the software, policies and procedures, and workflows for each application.Responsible for the set up and set down of the training classes they are scheduled to facilitate, including inventorying and distributing participant supplies. Incumbents who do not hold degrees may qualify if they have achieved applicable certifications and/or requisite work experience in training or healthcare. A two-year degree in healthcare field or equivalent level college courses in healthcare with appropriate experience may also be acceptable with supplemented corresponding experience.Experience in training on Epic 2020 versions required, with emphasis on Orders and Ambulatory; experience in Experience in Cupid, Radiant, Anesthesia, Stork and ASAP preferred.One-Two years or experience facilitating classroom learning in a clinical setting.
